The department of justice has finally shown green light to the USA two major airlines merging so that they could become the biggest combined airlines of the world.
They paved the way for united and continental airlines to become the world’s biggest airlines in combined format. They convinced the authority that they are not going to overlap the routes which will harm the passengers in terms of time consumption as well as in terms of finance.
This is the combination between the country’s third and fourth biggest airlines this will ultimately shrink the options for industrialist and fliers both. But maybe this merging of united and continental which were announced previously in may will not significantly affect the Washington area residents.
Someone said that USA airways is still having its presence on the reagel international airport, antitrust regulators said that their main concern about the deal is too make the competition very less at the international airport which is said to be the hub of the continental airlines.
