Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano told Congress that the children under the age of 12 will now soon be dispensed with pat-downs and take out their shoes at airport security checkpoints. This new policy has added scores of other ways to riddle out young children without recurring to a pat-down system that requires tincting private areas on the body.
When knowing about the hearing of Senate that there is some kind of threats to U.S. Napolitano said that these changes will be come into action in the coming months. But the Transportation Security Administration said that these changes would rather come into occurrence in weeks. Napolitano also said that there may be some elisions to keep airport security irregular and unpredictable as terrorists also design plans to use children as suicide bombers, and some children still require removing their shoes to keep security updates.
